Editorial Policy

This Editorial Policy describes the standards, practices, and principles that guide Rivento's journalism and content creation. Rivento is an independent editorial publication covering semiconductor technology, AI hardware, and the manufacturing ecosystem that underpins modern computing. This policy applies to all content published on rivento.cc, including articles, briefings, newsletters, and any other editorial material.

1. Editorial Mission and Standards

Rivento's mission is to provide clear, technically accurate, and contextually rich analysis of semiconductor developments for engineers, analysts, and informed readers. We aim to make complex topics understandable without oversimplifying the engineering and economic realities behind them.

Our editorial standards require that every published briefing meets the following criteria:

• Accuracy: We verify technical claims against available source material and industry data before publication. We distinguish between confirmed developments and speculative forecasts.
• Fairness: We present developments in context, acknowledging competing technologies, alternative approaches, and unresolved debates within the industry.

We do not blur the line between editorial content and advertising. All sponsored or paid content, if introduced in the future, will be clearly labeled as such.

Each briefing identifies the publication or organization supplied as its source context. Links to original sources are provided when available. A source attribution does not mean that Rivento endorses every claim in the source or that every development has reached commercial scale.

We follow these source attribution practices:

• Secondary sources (industry publications, analyst reports) are credited with the originating publication named.

All editorial content published on Rivento is original work produced by our editorial team. We do not republish or substantially reproduce content from other publications. When we reference or discuss reporting from other sources, we provide attribution and links to the original work, and we limit quoted material to what is necessary for editorial purposes under fair use principles.

We respect the intellectual property rights of other publishers and organizations. We do not use images, data, or text from third parties without appropriate licensing, permission, or fair use justification.

5. Author and Editorial Transparency

Rivento is committed to editorial accountability. All articles are published under the Rivento editorial byline. We maintain editorial oversight through a review process in which published content is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to this policy before publication.

6. Advertising and Editorial Independence

Rivento maintains a strict separation between editorial content and advertising. Advertising and sponsored content do not influence editorial coverage, topic selection, or the framing of articles. Editors and writers do not have access to information about which advertisers support specific articles or sections.

If Rivento enters into commercial relationships with companies mentioned in its coverage, those relationships will be disclosed in the relevant article or on a dedicated disclosure page. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, and we do not allow advertisers to review or approve editorial content before publication.

The Service may display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content through visual labels and formatting. 7. Corrections and Updates

Rivento is committed to accuracy and accountability. If we publish material errors of fact, we will correct them promptly and transparently.

Our corrections process:

• We review all correction requests carefully and verify them against available sources.
• When a material error is confirmed, we update the article and add a correction note at the bottom of the article, describing what was changed and when.
