Welcome to Rivento (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service, which is provided by Rivento ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access the Service.

c. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your account (if applicable) and for keeping your password secure.
d. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You agree to comply with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to your use of the Service.
e. You must not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
f. Rivento provides editorial information for general education and discussion. Our briefings are not financial, legal, engineering, or procurement advice. Semiconductor developments can change quickly. Readers should verify important claims with original sources and qualified professionals before making decisions.
2. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including all articles, briefings, visual design, branding, logos, and trademarks — are and will remain the exclusive property of Rivento and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
You may read and share links to Rivento content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not republish, reproduce, redistribute, or exploit substantial portions of the Service's content without prior written permission.
3. User Content (if applicable)
If you post, link, or otherwise make available content through the Service ("User Content"), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such User Content on and through the Service. You retain any and all of your rights to any User Content you submit. You are responsible for your User Content, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
4. Third-Party Links
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You acknowledge and agree that Rivento shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your use of any such third-party content or services.
5. Account Termination / Deactivation
We may terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
If you have created an account (e.g., for newsletter subscription), you may request deactivation or deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at the contact information provided below. Upon account termination, all associated data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
6. Disclaimers
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
Rivento does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components. No advice or information obtained from the Service shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL RIVENTO, NOR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
In jurisdictions where the exclusion or limitation of certain damages is not permitted, the foregoing limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of your use and access of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service ("Dispute"), the parties shall first attempt to resolve the Dispute through good-faith informal negotiation. You agree to notify us in writing of the Dispute and allow at least thirty (30) days for us to attempt to resolve the matter before initiating any formal proceedings.
If the Dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation, the parties agree that the Dispute shall be finally resolved through binding arbitration administered by a single arbitrator, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language.
You agree that you will not bring or participate in a class action or representative action against Rivento, and you waive any right to do so.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China (PRC), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For any disputes that cannot be resolved through arbitration as described above, the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Beijing, PRC, which shall be the designated competent court for resolving all such disputes.
If you are accessing the Service from outside the PRC, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
We may update these terms when the site or its publishing practices change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
